On Tuesday, nearly forty art schools in Cuba launched their school year despite a difficult context marked by energy problems and economic restrictions. More than nine thousand students, including about two thousand newcomers, were welcomed. Educational and cultural authorities, with the support of various stakeholders, are striving to ensure quality artistic training, essential to the culture and identity of the country.
