In the first half of 2026, Ecopetrol recorded a 5.9% increase in its refining capacity, reaching 428,000 barrels per day. The production of extra gasoline saw a surge of 150%, reaching 3,620 barrels daily. Diesel and aviation fuel volumes also increased by 11.2% and 12.7%, respectively. These results are attributed to optimizations in the refineries and new facilities.
