The TikTok platform has been condemned by Brazilian authorities for violations of personal data protection laws, particularly concerning information about users aged 13 to 18. In addition to a fine, TikTok must delete the data of these teenagers within 60 days if their legal representatives are not identified. Failures to comply with security and accountability principles were also noted during the audit.
