A recent military operation in Colombia resulted in the deaths of three minors, members of an armed group. The action aimed to weaken the Bloque Jorge Suárez Briceño, led by an individual known as ‘Calarcá’. In addition to the human losses, weapons and ammunition were seized. The government condemned the recruitment of children by armed groups and promised to strengthen the protection of minors.
