A 12-year-old child alerted the authorities about the presence of 13 other minors who were victims of abuse in a foundation in Haina. The boy described physical abuse and exploitation at work. Following an operation, 14 children were rescued and 20 people were arrested, including the head of the foundation. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of this case of abuse and possible human trafficking.
