The Colombian Geological Service warns of an intensification of seismic signals around the Puracé volcano, particularly tremors beneath the crater. An increase in seismic events, as well as ground deformation, are also being observed. Eight ash emissions have been recorded recently, visible from several locations. Authorities advise the public to stay away from the craters due to the risk of sudden eruptions.
