The Foreign Minister of Panama discussed with his Mongolian counterpart the accession of his country to the canal treaty. Panama emphasized the strategic importance of this maritime route and proposed a visa waiver agreement for Mongolian citizens. At the same time, an invitation was extended to Japan to join the canal neutrality protocol, thereby strengthening international cooperation around this essential route for global trade.
