On September 10, Pinar del Río will mark its 159 years as a city with a modest program of activities. The Municipal Administration Council has planned a civic parade and cultural initiatives in the neighborhoods. Cleaning and rehabilitation projects for public spaces will also be launched. A cultural gala will be held at the José Jacinto Milanés theater, showcasing local talent and the city's history.
