Astronauts Zhu Yangzhu, Zhang Zhiyuan, and Li Jiaying successfully conducted an extravehicular activity, performing maintenance operations on the solar panels of the Tiangong space station. This mission, which marked the first outing of the Shenzhou-23 mission, allowed for the installation of debris protection devices. The astronauts also carried out various routine tasks to ensure the proper functioning of the station.
