A survey conducted by the Eurasian Integration Institute reveals that the Adilet party received 71.8% of the votes in the parliamentary elections. More than 12.6 million voters cast their ballots to elect members of the Kurultái, the new unicameral parliament. A total of 545 candidates from seven parties competed for 145 seats. The final results will be published in a week by the Central Electoral Commission.
