An innovative integrated care approach has reduced mortality among patients living with HIV at the Centre for Comprehensive Orientation and Investigation. By improving access to screenings, treatment follow-up, and providing psychological support, mortality dropped from 2.7% to 0.7%. This model has also helped to reduce the abandonment of clinical follow-up, highlighting the importance of patient-centered care.
