The start of the 2026-2027 school year was marked by good attendance in several institutions in Gran Santo Domingo. Most schools recorded positive participation from students and staff. However, some centers, such as the Fray Ramón Pané Primary School, experienced low attendance. Other institutions had to postpone their opening due to unfinished work. The Ministry of Education confirmed the presence of millions of students nationwide.
