Dominican authorities intercepted a boat carrying 1.3 tons of cocaine and 30 blocks of marijuana during a maritime operation near Baní. Three suspects were arrested, and the operation was conducted with the assistance of the DEA and the Colombian Air Force. An investigation is underway to dismantle the network responsible for this trafficking, which uses speedboats to transport drugs from South America.
