Danielle Notice, a Jamaican researcher, recently obtained her PhD from Lancaster University, after an academic journey that began at the University of the West Indies. Her passion for statistics developed during her studies in actuarial science and was strengthened during her master's at the University of Edinburgh. She overcame significant challenges, including setbacks during her research, while benefiting from valuable support from her supervisors and her community.
