A man lost his life during a police intervention in Tamayo. Identified as Adolfo María Bello Heredia, he was wanted for a murder committed with a knife. According to law enforcement, he allegedly opened fire on the officers attempting to apprehend him, resulting in an exchange of gunfire. Injured, he was transported to the hospital where he died.
