The Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago announced the death of its rector, Dr. Lily Josefina Rodríguez González de Eloy. The circumstances of her death remain unknown. Due to this tragedy, all academic and administrative activities of the institution and its regional centers will be suspended this Tuesday. Lily Josefina Rodríguez had been elected rector in 2016 and had over ten years of experience in this role.
