The national police announced the recovery of appliances worth 288,500 pesos, obtained through a scam involving a fake bank receipt. The operation was carried out by specialized units after a truck carrying suspicious goods was spotted. The items belonged to a merchant who was deceived during a sale on Facebook Marketplace. Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible.
