The public prosecutor has requested the preventive detention of Yoan Manuel Jiménez Medina, accused of fraud after the sale of a phone that led to the death of Enmanuel Contreras Medina. Jiménez, who deceived the victim into believing he was the legitimate owner of an iPhone, turned himself in to authorities after several days on the run. A hearing to examine the request for coercive measures is scheduled to take place soon.
