The Third Collegiate Court of the National District has decided to merge the corruption charges against former senator Rafael Calderón and former Minister of Finance Donald Guerrero. This decision was made during the first hearing of the trial. The court also rejected the requests for extensions from the lawyers. The next hearing is scheduled for September 2, involving more than thirty defendants in this complex case.
