A court in Santiago has ordered three months of preventive detention for a 21-year-old man accused of being involved in the murder of a sergeant of the National Police during a traffic incident. Steven Sandoval, nicknamed "el Vico", will be incarcerated at the Rafey Hombres Correction and Rehabilitation Center. His lawyer contested the decision, stating that his client had cooperated with the authorities and denied knowing a teenager also involved.
