A fire that occurred from Sunday night to Monday in Abymes seriously injured a 27-year-old man. Alerted at 2:58 AM, rescuers found the victim conscious, suffering from burns to the face and a leg. The fire, which affected a squatted residence, was controlled by the man before the firefighters arrived. He was transported to the CHU for treatment.
