A 30-year-old man has been found guilty of violence against two former partners in Saint-François. The Pointe-à-Pitre correctional court imposed a sentence of 18 months in prison with a probationary suspension. The incidents, which occurred two months apart, include physical assaults in the presence of a child. The defendant will have to undergo treatment and is prohibited from contacting one of the victims for three years.
