A 53-year-old cyclist was seriously injured this Wednesday morning in Basse-Terre, during a collision with a car on Avenue Henri-Sidanbarum. Emergency services quickly took care of the victim, who suffers from multiple traumas, and transported her urgently to the CHU. The driver, a 69-year-old man, was also hospitalized, conscious but in shock. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
