On August 22, during the patronal festival of Saint-Claude, a giant screen fell on the crowd, causing four injuries, one of them serious. The Group of Producers and Organizers of Shows (GPOS) demands an investigation to determine the causes of this tragic incident. They had already alerted the authorities about the failures in the event sector in Guadeloupe a few days before the accident. The GPOS calls for awareness and strict enforcement of safety standards.
