On September 3 and 4, six horses in advanced malnutrition were seized in Saint-François following a report of abuse. Acting on a request from the gendarmerie, the Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Forestry found that the animals were kept in unacceptable conditions. They have been entrusted to the OABA for appropriate care. A criminal investigation is underway to shed light on this matter.
