A chlordécone screening campaign has begun in Basse-Terre, aiming to reach residents far from healthcare services. This free and confidential initiative, supported by the Prefecture and the ARS, uses a bus equipped to conduct blood tests. Two nurses and a doctor travel to provide a complete health assessment and raise awareness among rural and vulnerable populations about their exposure to chlordécone.
