Dr. Jean-Joseph Germain, a renowned cardiologist from Basse-Terre, passed away on August 12 in mainland France at the age of 76, following a cardiac incident while cycling. A great sports enthusiast, he was also a sports physician. Coming from a family of five, he shared his passion for cycling and football with his siblings. The funeral will take place after the repatriation of his body.
