The State is intensifying its efforts to combat flooding in Guadeloupe, a recurring phenomenon during heavy rains and cyclones. The Directorate of Environment, Planning and Housing is updating the maps of at-risk areas and developing a new flood management plan. This system aims to better identify vulnerable sectors and reduce impacts on the population and the economy by 2027.
