This week, two trainers from Guadeloupe received their certification in aquatic surveillance and rescue, becoming the first to complete this specific training. Frédéric Jeannot and Patrick Guérin, supported by the Departmental Committee for Rescue and First Aid, will pass on their skills to future lifeguards. With nearly 270 swimming sites in Guadeloupe, a prevention strategy is essential to reduce drownings and improve aquatic safety.
