Jessica Mauriello, a Martinican engineer, has been recognized by Bpifrance for her project "Algalith", a mineral material derived from seaweed. Intended for design and furniture, this innovation aims to enhance sargassum in the Caribbean. Although still in the prototype phase, Mauriello aims to commercialize her product within a year, while integrating solutions to local environmental issues.
