In response to the severe drought affecting Guyane, a first military aircraft Casa has been deployed to transport supplies to Maripasoula. This flight, carried out as part of the Orsec plan, marks the beginning of an air bridge intended to supply isolated municipalities. With rivers dried up, supplies are now being delivered by air, thus ensuring essential support for affected populations.
