EDF announced that electricity production in Guadeloupe has returned to normal. This situation raises questions about the share of renewable energies in the energy mix of the archipelago. Currently, 65% of electricity still comes from fossil fuels, primarily oil. Green energies represent 35%, with a significant share from biomass and contributions from solar and geothermal energy.
