MACTe held a commemorative ceremony on November 6 in Pointe-à-Pitre, in tribute to the memories of the transatlantic slave trade and Indian immigration. In the presence of a delegation from Cape Verde, this event highlighted the importance of historical memory in connection with the Route du Rhum competition. A wreath-laying at sea concluded this symbolic meeting, marking a bridge between history and sport.
