The national police of Haiti arrested five individuals during an operation conducted on August 19, 2026, in Cerca-Lacombe, in the municipality of Quartier-Morin. This action, orchestrated by the Departmental Judicial Police Service and the Cap-Haïtien Intervention Brigade, aimed to capture a leader of an armed group active in the Nord department.
