A member of the Jamaica Defence Force was shot dead on the night of September 13 in Fletcher's Land, Kingston. The individual, aged 37, was discovered by the police after residents reported gunfire. He was found near a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of doctors, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
