The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago has warned citizens in wealthy areas that they will be treated like any other citizen in terms of justice. She denounced the existence of a dual justice system and promised to put an end to the impunity of the elites. As the state of emergency comes to an end, she announced severe measures against criminals and mentioned the revival of legislation on special operation zones to combat crime.
