Eldrich Boedhoe, a Surinamese drug lord, was arrested in Medellín, ending an 11-year manhunt. Considered a key player in the cocaine trade to Europe, he was located thanks to international cooperation. Boedhoe, who is to serve a 12-year sentence in the Netherlands, was apprehended without resistance while on a terrace. He is now awaiting extradition.
