The Minister of Education announced a decrease in teacher resignations this year compared to last year. Fewer than 300 teachers left their positions between July and August, a period typically marked by many departures. To fill the vacant positions, about 1,000 trained teachers are ready to be deployed. Measures have also been put in place to facilitate the return of teachers on extended leave.
