The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) encourages men aged 40 and over to consult a healthcare professional for prostate cancer screening, on the occasion of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. This cancer, the most common in Jamaica, is also the leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Men are encouraged to discuss their family history and not ignore concerning symptoms.
