The Jamaica Fire Brigade urges homeowners to seek professional advice before acquiring generators. This recommendation aims to ensure that the equipment truly meets their needs. During a recent meeting, an official emphasized the importance of an assessment by a certified electrician. He also reminded that the use of generators should be done outdoors, away from homes, to avoid the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning.
