Court proceedings will soon resume in Savanna-la-Mar and Black River, thanks to the establishment of new facilities following the damage caused by Hurricane Melissa. The Minister of Justice announced that a lease has been signed for the Savanna-la-Mar courthouse, while negotiations are ongoing for a complex in Black River. Efforts are also being made to improve judicial facilities across the island.
