Silk Radio UK has decided to provide ongoing assistance to Dumfries Primary School, hit by Hurricane Melissa. In addition to repairing the damaged roof, the station is addressing the essential needs of the students, such as books and uniforms. A radiothon in January 2026 was organized to raise funds, and a second event is planned for 2027. Silk Radio's commitment aims to ensure sustainable support for the school and its students.
