Silk Radio UK has decided to dedicate the funds raised during its radiothon to Dumfries school, which was severely impacted by the hurricane. In addition to roof repairs, the focus is on the needs of students whose families are struggling to afford school supplies. The station plans to continue its support with a second radiothon scheduled for 2027, committing to help the school until it regains a stable situation.
