The Minister of Water, Environment and Climate Change clarified that the existing prohibition orders only concern water from the National Water Commission. Thus, the use of water purchased from private sources for parties is not illegal, even if it may be deemed immoral during a drought. Organizers must, however, obtain permission from their parish council to use these sources.
