This week, law enforcement carried out several firearm seizures in Fort-de-France and Lamentin. On Wednesday, an individual was arrested in Balata with a revolver during an identity check. He was placed in police custody. Since the beginning of the year, authorities have made 63 firearm seizures on the territory, highlighting an active fight against armed crime.
