The sugarcane, banana, livestock, and fruits and vegetables sectors gathered at the chamber of agriculture to express their opposition to the budgetary restrictions planned in the 2027 finance bill. They warn about the negative impacts that these cuts, estimated between 24 and 26 million euros for the overseas territories, could have on productions already weakened by drought and rising production costs.
