Since 2017, Martinique has had a single authority to organize its transportation, but car usage continues to rise. The TCSP, intended to be the backbone of the system, is struggling to provide a reliable and coordinated service. Land and maritime networks remain poorly articulated, despite efforts to improve the offer. The challenge now is to make public transportation more predictable and accessible, especially for less-served municipalities.
