Maiquetia International Airport, severely damaged by an earthquake, has resumed its commercial operations after more than two months of closure. A flight to Mexico has taken off, marking the restart of activities. Temporary terminals have been set up to accommodate passengers, while humanitarian flights had already been authorized. The airport had previously redirected traffic to other less suitable airports.
