In an orchard in Saint-Gilles, mangoes are already being harvested, well before the usual season. The manager of the farm, Alexandre Law-Yat, notes that some trees have bloomed earlier, without any direct link to climate change. Currently, about fifty boxes are sold each week, while other mango trees are still waiting to bloom. Weather conditions remain a major issue for the future of production.
