The case of Hiro Kelley, former representative of GIE Moorea tourism, has been described as large-scale fraud by the prosecutor of Papeete. He is suspected of having illegally engaged in currency exchange activities, causing harm to 90 victims for a total estimated amount of 70 million XPF. Kelley will appear before the court in June 2027, facing multiple charges against him.
